Introduction

An Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell is an integral part of educational institutions, especially in technical and management colleges, aiming to promote entrepreneurship among students. The ED Cell encourages students to explore entrepreneurial ventures and provides them with resources, guidance, and mentorship to become successful entrepreneurs.

In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education, KLE College of Engineering and Technology has established an Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell. The primary objective of the ED Cell is to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, faculty, and staff, and to provide a platform for them to transform their ideas into successful startups.

Objectives

1. Primary objective of the cell is to create the awareness and motivation among the students to explore the unexplored in the field of entrepreneurship.                                 

2. Inculcating entrepreneurial spirit among the students.                                               

3. Establishing a bridge between industries and students in generating the innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

1. Organizing entrepreneurship awareness and development programs to foster the spirit and culture among the students.

2. Arrange interaction with diverse entrepreneur and financial institutions.                                                         

3. Arranging for suitable skill development programmes related to Entrepreneurship Development.                                

4. Organize for suitable/relevant Guest/special Lectures/Talks related to Entrepreneurship Development
