The Department of Mechanical Engineering at KLECET, Chikodi is the largest department in terms of student strength, faculty, and modern infrastructure. It offers quality education with specializations in Production Engineering, Design Engineering, and Thermal Engineering.
The department focuses on building strong fundamentals through theory and well-equipped laboratories, guided by experienced and qualified teaching and technical staff. Students gain practical knowledge through advanced labs such as Workshop, Machine Shop, CAD, Material Testing, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Design Labs.
